Chris Khouri : Haha! Interesting that all your inspirational figures are right now busy giving each other a tough time.
Ajay: What do you mean?
Chris Khouri : Well, Bezos and Musk are embroiled in a space race. Bill Gates, on the other hand, recently took a jibe at both of them in one swipe, quipping that we have a lot to do here on earth, when asked about space interests of billionaires.
Ajay: Haha, good one! After all, what’s life without some wit! But on a serious note, I think both Gates and the Bezos-Musk duo are right.
Chris Khouri: How so?
Ajay: As entrepreneurs, we have a lot to do here as Gates said. We have a responsibility towards the larger society and our efforts should be towards making this world a better place for everyone. Gates is being a great role model through his efforts to improve healthcare globally.
On the other hand, space exploration and related technologies have taken mankind forward by leaps and bounds. Its absolutely important that entrepreneurs play an active role in taking it further forward for the benefit of the entire humanity. So I would say, lets keep our feet firm on the earth and reach out to the stars!
